I created a time line chart of the poverty rate for 3 age groups. To get this data, first go to Poverty in the United States: 2025 from the Census Bureau. Then scroll down until you see Table 3. Poverty Status of People by Age, Race, and Hispanic Origin Using the Official Poverty Measure: 1959 to 2025. When you click on that an Excel file will open up.
